When music & art collide! Join us on Friday, July 10th from 5-8pm for a wonderful Gallery Opening celebration and Group Show called “Art Club’ with local musicians and artists Kim Baxter, Meredith Butner, Iris Porter, and Jenny Rahlf. They’re all in great local bands and are in an art club together, meeting semi-regularly to talk about and provide feedback and moral support with their creative projects. Kim Baxter is a musician and mixed media artist based in Portland, Oregon. She currently plays in All Girl Summer Fun Band, Rocketship and Artsick. When she's not playing music, she's creating collages and dioramas using photographs that she has taken over the years combined with objects and found images to recreate a scene and tell a story.

Meredith Butner is a visual artist, musician and vintage reseller based in Portland, Oregon. She plays bass in the bands Whisper Hiss and JUSTINE.

Iris Porter is a multidisciplinary artist and musician based in Portland, Oregon. Letterpress printing (since 2001): using wood and lead type, found cuts and mostly salvaged paper goods. Other studio practices include: drawing, watercolor and gouache painting, collage, writing, book-making and music-making. Porter plays drums in The Big in Japan Country Band and guitar in the band JUSTINE.

Jenny Rahlf is a Portland-based artist working in charcoal, ink, and watercolor. Rahlf came to drawing after leaving a career in healthcare during the pandemic, a departure that opened into a sustained commitment to the visual. Her work has been shown at Gallery A Go-Go, MoM, and the 2nd Annual PCC Student Virtual Art Exhibition. She plays guitar in the band Whisper Hiss.
