Saint David - Portals For Mortals

Join us on Friday, October 10th from 5-8pm for an Artist Reception for Saint David and his new show "Portals for Mortals." Saint David’s photographic observations are made peering in through the gaps between the weathered pickets of the fence that pens us in (and also protects us) from the terrifying expanse of the natural world. This abridged collection of images, from a period of self-imposed exile in the Mid-West, are deserted cityscapes, found objects, and the intimate moments of solitude normally invisible to others. David understands that colors blind the eye, and sounds deafen the ear. He allows things to come and go, receptive with inner vigilance to the clean radial contours of both the settled present and the uncanny.
